At CGS the end of term is always a busy time - this term has been no exception.
It all started with the WW1 concert on 1st July. More news on that here.
Then the Jazz Band and String Trio played at the wedding reception of two former students.
Three girls in Y10 played at the Memory Cafe in Sidmouth - part of our succesful outreach programme this year.
We have just finished four days of ABRSM music exams - well done to all the candidates, you prepared and performed very well. Looking forward to a good set of results.
Next week sees a series of three Summer Recitals in the Recital Room - a chance for students to play some of their music in an informal setting.
The Junior Jazz Band will be travelling to Axminster to give a lunchtime concert.
Then there is the annual Choir Tour - this year to Brecon. We will be the resident choir at Brecon Cathedral, and also visiting St. Davids and Newport.
